Ashton Kutcher has received many praises for his role as Steve Jobs, all but from the most important person. Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is not that impress with Kutcher’s performance as his former business partner.

“I suspect a lot of what was wrong with the film came from Ashton’s own image of Jobs,” wrote Wozniak in a review of the film on Gizmodo.com. “Ashton made some disingenuous and wrong statements about me recently (including my supposedly having said that the ‘movie’ was bad, which was probably Ashton believing pop press headlines) and that I didn’t like the movie because I’m paid to consult on another one. These are examples of Ashton still being in character.”

Wozniak doesn’t recommend the biopic to anyone. “I was attentive and entertained but not greatly enough to recommend the movie,” he writes. “One friend who is in the movie said he didn’t want to watch fiction so he wasn’t interested in seeing it. …I felt bad for many people I know well who were portrayed wrongly in their interactions with Jobs and the company.”

The film was released this past Friday and have been highly anticipated. According to Wozniak, it is not a proper representation of the life of Jobs and the other members of Apple as they built one of the top companies in the world.
