Filmmaker Michael Moore Divorcing From Wife After 21 Years

Documentary filmmaker, Michel Moore, is filing for divorce from his wife of 21 years. The Fahrenheit 9/11 director filed papers in the Antrim County Circuit Court on June 21, 2013 citing that here was “no reasonable likelihood that the marriage can be preserved”.

Moore and producer, Kathleen Glynn, had been married for 20 years. The Michigan based news agency, MLive reports that the pair had not been living together in their Torch Lake home in Michigan. CelebrityNetWorth.com places Moore’s worth at around $50 million, including the couple’s home that costs around $1.2 million. The couple have worked together throughout their marriage, with Glynn acting as a producer on several of Moore’s films such as the Oscar winning Bowling for Columbine, Fahrenheit 9/11, and Sicko. They also co-authored a book entitled Adventures in a TV Nation.

Moore is best known for his documentaries that often explain conspiracy theories in major  news controversies. He took on the pharmaceutical companies in Sicko where he tried to explain universal healthcare. He also aimed to get the true story behind the 9/11 attacks of the World Trade Center in Fahrenheit 9/11.

Moore and Glynn were married in their hometown of Flint, Michigan on October 19,1991  and have no children together. Glynn has a daughter named Natalie from a previous relationship. A final divorce hearing is set for September 10.
