Travis Pratt Proposes To Girlfriend On America’s Got Talent

Opera singer Travis Pratt is hearing a lot of yeses. After getting a resounding “yes” from the judges of America’s Got Talent, the contestant also got a “yes” from his girlfriend after taking the plunge to propose on stage of the primetime NBC show.

Pratt, an opera singer from Georgia, received a standing ovation from judges Mel B, Heidi Klum, Howard Stern and Howie Mandel for his “outrageous” performance. After his audition, Pratt said the song was one he usually just sings around the house and credited his girlfriend for pushing him to take the stage.  Pratt’s girlfriend came on to the stage shortly after the performance where Mandel praised her for pushing Pratt for five years to pursue his singing. Pratt then proceeded to get down on one knee and ask the love of his life for her hand in marriage. “I have loved you from the very first moment I laid eyes on you,” he told her. “Will you marry me?” Of course she said “yes”!

The audience cheered and cried for the joyous occasion between the couple. Mandel to the pair, “Thank you for sharing this moment with the nation.”  Travis’ performance earned him Hollywood Life’s top act of the night and he moved on to the next round!
