Jennifer Lawrence continues breaking the barriers as a young actress. At the ripe age of 22, the actress has won an academy award and has starred in some of the biggest films to date, including Hunger Games. Next up, Lawrence is set to wear both hats as she stars and produces her next film entitled The Rules of Inheritance.
Lawrence starred alongside Bradley Cooper and Robert DeNiro in the film Silver Linings Playbook, in which she won Best Actress. That alone is a huge accomplishment for a young actress, but she has decided to take it to the next level in her upcoming film. According to Entertainment Weekly, the actress will act and produce in the drama based on the memoir by writer Claire Bidwell Smith. The book chronicles the difficult coming-of-age Smith experienced while learning at 14 that both of her parents had been diagnosed with cancer.
Bruce Cohen is lined up to produce the film alongside Lawrence. Susan Bier, who also directed a Lawrence/Cooper collab Serena, will direct the film. Abi Morgan is adapting the work for the big screen.
Jennifer Lawrence is currently wrapping up filming for the sequel to Hunger Games. She brings back Catniss Everdeen in Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
