“Take Care “is still bumping on the playlists of music lovers around the world, but Drake will finally be releasing new music! The rapper will premiere his newest single entitled “Started From the Bottom” at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards.
Drake already has a lot to celebrate as he is nominated for three Grammy’s including Best Rap Album. At the illustrious awards show on February 10, the Canadian rapper will also be dropping his first single off of his highly anticipated third studio album according to Billboard. Cash Money Records co-CEO, Birdman told the magazine that the new single is only the beginning of w hat is expected to be a huge year for Drake. ‘This year we go something in store,” said Birdman “We got a new record coming out this year. It’s just one of those nights that, after seeing each other together, that’ll be like the highlight of our night, the highlight of our life, the highlight of our year.”
Birdman didn’t give too much detail on what to expect on the new album from Drake, but the Young Money rapper collaborated with Director X earlier this month on what could have been the music video set of “Started From The Bottom”. Drake was spotted shooting a scene dressed in all white driving in a car in early January, creating speculation that a video and new single could be released in unison.
There has been no official release date, but Drake has said the new album will have a different style than “Take Care”.
