RED-2

The “RED” stars, Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, Mary-Louise Parker, and John Malkovich are back for the riveting sequel. This time, the crew of former assassins, are not playing on the same team.

In the new trailer for the film, Willis plays Frank Moses, who tries to return to a normal life shopping at the Home Depot,  until he is contacted by the former assassins. Helen Mirren revises her role as Victoria, this time, with a contract out on Moses’ life. Despite her age, the actress is not too shy to run around in tight outfits while totting a gun. Catherine Zeta-Jones makes an appearance in the film as the former lover of Moses. The trailer shows the two in an awkwardly, lengthy kiss, but there’s no love story there. Frank Moses has to go up against his former lover, alongside new flame played by Mary-Louise Parker.

“Red 2” is the sequel to the 2010 film, “RED”, which stands for Retired and Extremely Dangerous that was inspired by the comic book series of the same name. The film brings back the ex CIA operatives as they use their old skills to take on a new set of bad guys. The first film was a shock hit at the box office in 2010, earning $200 million worldwide.

Red 2 hits theaters in August.
