Adele will make her first post baby appearance at the Golden Globes where she is nominated for original song for James Bond theme “Skyfall”.
Adele welcomed her first child, with fiance Simon Konecki, in October. The British singer has been keeping a low profile since announcing her pregnancy in June after sweeping the Grammy Awards last February with six awards. The singer was spotted on Thursday carrying her baby boy, whose name has yet to been revelaed, at LAX airport in advance of Sunday’s Golden Globes.
Adele’s single “Skyfall” will compete against Taylor Swift’s song “Safe and Sound” from Hunger Games, Jon Bon Jovi’s song”Not Running Anymore” from Stand Up Guys, Keith Urban’s track from Act of Valor, and “Suddenly” from Les Miserables, which was sung by Hugh Jackman, at the Golden Globes.
Adele has had a successful year, with her album 21 going diamond and taking the number one spot for the second year in a row with the highest album sales. The singer recently got the news that her song was nominated for an Oscar as well! “Oh my god i feel like Meryl Streep!! Thank you x,” she tweeted after finding out the news.
The Globes will be presented on Sunday, Jan 13 on NBC at 8 p.m at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
