2013 is looking like the year of Queen Beyonce, and we are loving every minute of it. The singer, and mommy to one year old Blue Ivy (yes mommy), graced the cover of men’s magazine GQ as the magazine’s Sexiest Woman of the Century, and by the cover, we see why.
In the magazine, the singer discusses her upcoming album that will feature collaborations from Pharrell to Justin Timberlake.”I’ve been working with Pharrell and Timbaland and Justin Timberlake and Dream. We all started in the ’90s, when R&B was the most important genre, and we all kind of want that back: the feeling that music gave us.” Beyonce and Justin Timberlake worked together before with “Until the End of Time” remix, and the Single Ladies parody on Saturday Night Live in 2009.
When asked about her fame, the singer gushes, “I now know that, yes, I am powerful. I’m more powerful than my mind can even digest and understand.” Beyonce’s GQ issue will hit newsstands January 22.
Not only is the mega star preparing for an upcoming album, Beyonce will be revving it up at the Super Bowl Halftime show next month. If you can’t get enough of Beyonce, her documentary chronicling her life as a singer, mother, and mogul will be airing on HBO next month as well. If the beginning of the year is any indication of what’s to come, we can’t wait to see what the singer has in store.
