It was a big night for recently reunited girl band the Spice Girls as they arrived in London in style for the premiere of their new musical “Viva Forever,” a place based around several of their songs.
Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown and Melanie Chisholm (Baby, GInger, Scary and Sporty Spice) arrived on the carpet together at the Piccadilly Theatre in London with Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) arriving later with her husband and children.
The lady’s are standing behind the new production no matter what critics may think. Melanie Chisolm told reporters; “If people criticize it, we don’t care – because we love it.”
The musical tells the story of 4 friends who must navigate their relationships while they compete on a television talent show and is set to some of the Spice Girls greatest hits including “Wannabe,” “Spice Up Your Life,” and “Viva Forever.” IT is being produced by Judy Craymer, the woman behind the ABBA musical “Mamma Mia!”
