It may not be your typical line of menswear but what else would you expect from the legendary Yoko Ono. The Iconic artist launched a new line of clothing for men on Tuesday based on drawings that she created for her late husband John Lennon back in 1969. Among the more provocative designs are tanks with the nipples cut out, tight pants with hand prints over the crotch and even a man bra complete with flashing LED lights. Yoko Ono explained that the line was inspired by a series of drawing and sketches that she completed in 1969as a wedding present to John. The sketches were recently compiled into a book called “Fashions for Men.”
Ono explained her inspiration to Women’s wear Daily: “I was inspired to create Fashions for Men, amazed at how my man was looking so great. I felt it was a pity if we could not make clothes emphasizing his very sexy bod. So, I made this whole series with love for his hot bod, and gave it to him as a wedding present.”
