The police have decided not to pursue charges against hip hop artists Drake and Chris Brown for their altercation at a SoHo nightclub.
According to sources within law enforcement, there is not enough evidence against the two, who allegedly came to blows at W.I.P over the summer over their mutual ex-girlfriend Rihanna, to warrant charges or further investigation. There was video surveillance of the incident but apparently the images are too blurry to indicate who was responsible for starting the fight. NYPD officials interviewed witnesses from the club, but the testimony was also found to be “inconclusive.”
The news comes as a surprise to those who have been following the story as shortly after the fight Brown posted photos of his battered face, allegedly caused by a bottle being thrown from Drake’s table. Many club goers that night were injured including; body guards, customers, entourage members and NBA player Tony Parker.
