Star Spotlight: Kourtney Kardashian

Kourtney Mary Kardashian is an American businesswoman, socialite, model, actress and reality television personality that was born April 18, 1979 in Mill Valley, California. Kourtney Kardashian is the oldest daughter of is the oldest child of attorney Robert Kardashian and Kris Jenner and the sister of Kim, Khloé, and Rob Kardashian. She is also the half sister of Kendall and Kylie Jenner. Kourtney Kardashian gained four step-siblings when her mother married former Olympian Bruce Jenner in 1991. Those four step-siblings are Burton “Burt”, Brandon, Brody and Cassandra Lyn “Casey” Jenner.

After graduating from Roman Catholic all-girls school Marymount High School in Los Angeles Kourtney Kardashian moved to  Dallas, Texas, where she attended Southern Methodist University for two years. She then moved to Tucson, Arizona and attended the University of Arizona, graduating with a degree in Theatre Arts and a minor in Spanish.

Kourtney Kardashian first appeared on reality television in the 2005 series, Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive, on which she earned money for charity. Kourtney Kardashian then became a cast member on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which follows the day to day activities of her and her extended family. Kourtney Kardashian and her sister Khloé starred in their own spinoff reality show, Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami, the first season of which documented their opening of the Miami D-A-S-H location in 2009. In January 2011, Kourtney and Kim Take New York premiered, which documents her and sister Kim opening their third D-A-S-H store in New York.
