Miley Cyrus puts wedding on hold to complete album

Former child star and pop singer Miley Cyrus stunned fans back in June when the 19 year old announced that she was engaged to hunky Australian actor Liam Hemsworth but now it seems that we will have to wait a little while longer to hear those wedding bells ring. Miley announced at last nights MTV Video Music Awards that she has put her wedding plans on the back burner while she is busy recording her new album. Cyrus explained “I’ll have a single out this year. This is the first time I get to tell people about it, so I’m really excited. It’s all really different. We’ve been working really hard and the record, I’m really proud of the album. It’s my favorite thing I’ve done probably ever.” The star insists that all is well with fiancee Hemsworth and that she remains excited about getting married shes just not in any rush to make it legal.
