1017 BrickSquad Monopoly rapper Slim Dunkin was murdered late Friday evening while he was in the studio getting ready to shoot a music video. Police Maj. Keith Meadows said Slim, whose real name is Mario Hamilton, was shot once in the chest after getting into an argument with another individual. He was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital where they pronounced him dead.
Authorities are still having troubles catching the shooter. Police have been busy interviewing everyone that was in the studio when this heinous crime happened. Major Meadows said as many as 20 people were inside the small office-type building at the time of the shooting, which took place around 5:30 p.m., but they were in different places. Police have not found the murder weapon used either. Meadows went on to say “Right now we’re just trying to … identify who may have seen what, really just trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together. It seems everybody witnessed something very different. We’re just trying to go back and make sense of everything.”
Slim Dunkin has been on countless mixtapes and songs with rap superstar Gucci mane and waka Flocka. Slim also recently released a 20-track mix tape called Menace II Society (Hosted By Waka Flocka) that featured Gucci Mane, Roscoe Dash and Pastor Troy.
