The music world was saddened this week when the news was released that rapper Freddy E had taken his own life at the young age of 22.

The Seattle medical examiner’s office has confirmed that the Seattle native, born Frederick E. Buhl, died on January 5th from a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

Freddy E took to Twitter on the day of his death to share his pain with fans and followers following a recent “heartbreak.” One of his disturbing Tweets read, “if there’s a God, then he’s calling me back home. The barrel never felt so good next to my dome. It’s cold and I’d rather die than live alone.”
Later in the day he posted his final goodbye’s saying: “it’s…all…bad…y’all. *puts finger around trigger*…I love you mom…I love you dad…I love you Katherine…God…please forgive me…I’m sorry.”

On again off again celebrity couple Kat Von D and Deadmau5 got engaged over the weekend after the Canadian DJ proposed to Von D via Twitter.
“I can’t wait for Christmas so… Katherine Von Drachenberg, will you marry me?” Joel Thomas Zimmerman, aka Deadmau5, posted Saturday along with a picture of the engagement ring that he purchased featuring two small skulls and a note saying; “Changing the diamond to black diamond FYI. Sorry for the jpg…they’ll finish the actual ring soon I hope.”
Von D replied to her man on Twitter saying: “Mi corazon!!! Thank you all for the lovely congratulations! Please excuse me while I go squeeze the hell out of my fiance!!!
This will be the 2nd marriage for tattoo artist Kat Von D who was previously married to Oliver Peck. She also made headlines last year when she was briefly engaged to Sandra Bullock’s ex-husband Jesse James.

Ice may love Coco but he’s none to happy with his blond bombshell wife this week as images emerged of her looking cozy with young rapper AP 9. Ice-T headed straight to Twitter to address the photos saying: “Don’t get it twisted, I’m not happy about this s–t. Most of [the pics are] disrespectful and in bad taste. She’s made me look and feel like s–t.” THe tweets have since been deleted by the Law & Order: SVU star.
Shortly after Ice-T tweeted his feelings Coco responded with a Twitter apology saying: “Ice is right, the pics I took with this man were in poor taste & I disrespected my husband however the pics were the only thing that happened. I feel so sad, the bottom line is I love Ice & I can understand why he’s upset there’s no excuse for my actions. I’m so sorry baby & to everyone.” Looks like things have been worked out between the lovebirds however as Coco tweeted yesterday that she was hanging out with her man on the set of his TV show.

24 hours ago Pope Benedict joined Twitter with the handle @pontifex and already his holiness has gained 370,000 followers. Among the first to welcome the pope to the social media site was Israeli President Shimon Peres, the 89 year old tweeted: “Your holiness, welcome to Twitter. Our relations with the Vatican are at their best & can form a basis to further peace everywhere.”

The pope has yet to send a single tweet but that isn’t stopping many of his 1.2 billion Roman Catholics from flocking to his site. According to the Vatican, Benedict will start tweeting officially on December 12^th and will stick predominantly to spiritual topics. The tweets will be available in Spanish, English, Portuguese, German, Polish, Italian, Arabic and French and after the official launch by the Pope on the 8^th, will mainly be written by aides. The first tweets will be reply’s to the questions currently being sent to #askpontifex.

While it’s usually his famous sisters that bring the drama to social media, today it was Rob Kardasian’s turn to rattle the Twittersphere with a full blown rant against former girlfriend Rita Ora.

Kardashian never mentions Ora by name but makes no attempt to hide her identity as he tweets:

“She cheated on me with nearly 20 dudes while we were together, I wonder how many she will sleep with not that we apart? But I mean 20?!!!”

“How can a woman who is so busy trying to start her own career have time to be with so many dudes all while being in a relationship?!”

The reality television star has since deleted the tweets. He and Ora were first linked over the summer in several tabloid magazines but only started to open up about their relationship in October. Since the breakup, Rob has removed all traces of his former lady from his Twitter account.

Donald Trump sure likes to dole out the advice to celebrities these days. The always opinionated billionaire took to Twitter to offer some advice to Gabriel Aubry, who was beaten up in a Thanksgiving Day brawl at his ex, Halle Berry’s, house. After photos emerged of Aubry’s bruised and swollen face, Trump had the following words of wisdom to share with the model.

“Gabriel Aubry should learn how to fight – he became a punching bag,” read his Wednesday tweet.

The Donald also threw a dig at Berry adding, “Always drama with Halle B!”

The latest comments mark just a few of the tweets that Trump has aimed at celebrities in recent months. He was outspoken in placing blame on Kate Middleton for her topless photo scandal and took time out of his busy schedule to advise Robert Pattinson to break up with Kristen Stewart after she was caught cheating on him.

Lindsay Lohan hasn’t been getting much love from critics for her disappointing turn as the late Elizabeth Taylor in the new biopic Liz & Dick but one pop star is telling her to keep her chin up. Lady Gaga took to Twitter this Monday after watching the flicks Sunday premiere to tell Lohan; “you did a beautiful job on Liz & Dick, let no one bring u down, Liz didn’t, they always try to knock the greats down a few pegs.”

Lindsay was clearly touched by the words of encouragement tweeting back: “thank you so much! You are such an incredible force and that means the world to me love & hugs xo hope to see you soon bella.”

Apparently the troubled starlet and the reigning pop princess have become friends in recent years. The two were once seen partying together at former Lohan hangout Chateau Marmont and rumors are circulating that Lindsay may make an appearance in an upcoming Lady Gaga music video. Gaga isn’t the only celebrity supporting the troubled actress, just last week bad boy Charlie Sheen cut Lohan a check to help with back taxes.

Kim Kardashian issued a statement today apologizing for the comments she made on Twitter yesterday in regards to the increased violence between Palestine and Isreal. The reality star said she wanted to “own up” for writing the two tweets: “Praying for everyone in Israel” and later, “Praying for everyone in Palestine and across the world!”

In her statement Kim explained; “I want to own up to and explain that earlier today I sent out two tweets about saying prayers for the people in Palestine and Israel and after hearing from my followers, I decided to take down the tweets because I realized that some people were offended and hurt by what u said, and for that I apologize. I should have pointed out my intentions behind these tweets when I posted them. The fact is that regardless of religion and political beliefs, there are countless innocent people involved who didn’t choose this, and I pray for all of them and also for a resolution.”

Kathy Bates revealed via Twitter today that she was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 months ago and has undergone a double mastectomy. “Hey All,” she said, “sorry for the long silence. I was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 months ago & am recovering from a double mastectomy…I don’t miss my breasts as much as I miss Harry’s Law. Thanks for all the sweet tweets. Y’all kept me going.” This is the second run in with cancer for Kathy Bates who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer back in 2003. According to a statement made by Bates to People  she will not require chemo or radiation to help fight the breast cancer saying that her “doctors have assured me I’m going to be around for a long time.” Bates has been keeping a low profile since her NBC drama ‘Harry’s Law’ was cancelled  last May. The actress is up for an Emmy in September for her role on that show as well as for a guest appearance on the comedy ‘Two and a Half Men’.

Ellen Page, the 25 year old actress known for her roles in Juno and Whip It, has contacted police after receiving death threats on the social media site Twitter.

The actress filed a report with the LAPD this week regarding threats made back in June. In response the Los Angeles Police Department has issued a warrant to Twitter forcing them to release any information they have in regards to the two accounts, since deleted, that the threats were issued from. The Tweets in question seem to stem from time Page has been spending with her “To Rome with Love” co-star Alexander Skarsgard the first tweet said simply “I’m going to murder Ellen Page. She’s dead.” The second message was a bit more informative: “Ellen Page if you continue to date Alexander I will K-1-L-L you in public in the next year…Be it in a club, in a restaurant, or when you’re signing autographs.” Police believe the same suspect is responsible for threatening phone calls also aimed at the actress back in June.
