Not only were we shocked to hear that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were expecting a baby, the news came as a surprise to the reality star herself. Kim sat down with the Today show this morning to discuss how she felt about the happy news.

“Khloe has been very open about her fertility issues and I think I was always really kind of quiet about mine, and I have similar issue, and so it was a pleasant surprise when so many doctors were telling me one thing and then the opposite happens. That’s an exciting moment’ you can’t plan for things like that,” she said. “So I think it’s just such a blessing knowing my circumstances.”

Kim revealed that her baby is expected to arrive in July. As for whether she and West will be tying the knot anytime soon the star said that their first priority is the baby and thoughts of marriage are on the back burner for now. Good thing, seeing as she has yet to finalize her divorce from NBA player Kris Humphries.

They tried to make Ann Curry the scape goat for poor rating, but since the popular news anchor was replaced with Savannah Guthrie, rating for the “Today” show have continued to plummet and now executives have decided to change up the show’s leadership.

An NBC executive has confirmed to the Associated Press that Jim Bell, the show’s executive producer who made the decision to can Curry, will be replaced in the near future. Alexandra Wallace will be taking over the helm until a replacement for Bell can be found.

For 17 years the “Today” show ruled the morning airwaves but after some initial slips in ratings they fell consistently behind competitor “Good Morning America” after Curry’s departure in June. The only exception came during the Olympics when the crew headed to London to cover the games.

Bell isn’t entirely without a job, according to NBS Sports he will take over as executive producer of NBC’s Olympic coverage.
