Selena Gomez’s bff couldn’t keep the news to her self about the “Come & Get It” singer becoming a big sister. She took to her twitter to send congratulations to Gomez and her family on the birth of a new baby girl for Mandy Cornett.

“@selenagomez IS A BIG SISTER!!!!! Everyone congratulate her and her family!!!! #CONGRATSSELENA!!!” Tweeted Demi Lovato. She later added, “#CONGRATSSELENAMANDYAND BRIAN !!!!!!”

Gomez recently revealed her mother’s pregnancy this month when she shared a photo of her mother’s growing belly. “Hope all the amazing moms had a great day! I have the best momma in the world. I love you so much!” she tweeted along with the image.

In 2011, Selena’s mother, Mandy, suffered a miscarriage. The family planned to name the baby girl Scarlett and would have been the first for her and her husband Brian Teefy. Selena handled the situation gracefully as she was in the public eye heavy from dating Justin Bieber. The family now has a lot to celebrate with their latest addition.

Selena Gomez is gearing up to release her first solo album Star Dance, which becomes available on July 23. She recently took to her YouTube account to give a breakdown on the album and share the album art and newest single.
