Lindsay Lohan isn’t letting a little think like upcoming court dates get her down. The troubled starlet took off to London with her mom Dina in tow to ring in the New Year at a London party thrown by Prince Akim of Brunei. The prince is renowned for his lavish parties, complete with expensive gift bags, and reportedly paid Lohan $100,000 to host his New Year’s Eve soiree. The actress had originally claimed that she was going to spend a quite New Year’s at home but an inside source says that the party had been on her calendar for a while.

“Prince Azim not only flew her out, he put her up in a beautiful suite in the Dorchester for the weekend and following the party. Her mom, Dina, is also in London with her at the hotel and attended the party,” the source said.

Lindsay is due back in New York by January 7^th for her arraignment stemming from a bar fight late last year.

It was a huge night for Rolling Stones fans as the legendary band kicked off their 50 & Counting tour in London on Sunday night. The band put on a 2 ½ hour show that featured songs from throughout their entire career and special appearances from fellow musicians Mary J. Blige and Jeff Beck as well as former band mates Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor.

Reviews are starting to pour in and overall it seems like the Stones can still rock live on stage. Rolling Stone said “This was the Stones in the raw,” and the Sun pointed out that “the band were tight, but rough around the edges.” The played many of their greatest hits including ‘Tumbling Dice’ and ‘Sympathy for the Devil’ but also proved that, according to the Guardian, the show “seemed to be about more than mere nostalgia.” Next up for the band? Performances in New York and New Jersey this December.
