The interview was shot only four days after the trouble actress left rehab on July 30. She stated that she would be “open and honest” during the segment, where Winfrey asked many pertinent questions. Oprah hit on Lohan’s rehab stint to her perception that her parents have exploited her in some way.

Lohan admits that she hadn’t been taking promises seriously and explains why she is in and out of rehab. Lohan confesses multiple times during the interview with Oprah that she is an addict and alcohol is her drug of choice. She explains that alcohol was her gateway to other drugs, including cocaine, in which she admits to snorting 10 to 15 times in the past. Lohan also explains that she’s no longer taking prescription medication, including Adderall that she says she was addicted to before going to rehab.

The Canyons actress says she learned from her experiences and is moving on the right track. She stated that she feels “whole again”. She looks forward to getting back to acting and aims to regain the trust of the people in her career.

Lindsay Lohan is the latest troubled celebrity to take a seat on Oprah Winfrey’s couch and no question is off limits. In a preview clip of Oprah’s Next Chapter, she grills  Lohan to discuss her widely publicized past and what’s next for the actress.

Winfrey asks the 27-year-old, who recently finished a stint in rehab, “Are you an addict?” This is just the first of many blunt questions Lohan will answer during the interview set to air on August 18. The former talk show hosts also asks, “What does it feel like to be both an adjective and a verb for ‘child star gone wrong?”

The OWN Network has also grabbed an eight episode docu-series following the Liz and Dick star as she works to rebuild her career and stay healthy. Lohan just finished her 90-day court ordered rehab at the end of last month. Her attention now is to focus on rebranding and creating a new image. She recently filmed a guest-hosting gig on Chelsea Lately that will air on August 5. A source tells E! News, “She is talking this really serious. She wants people to know the days of her clubbing and partying are over and she is a new girl.”

Lohan also stars in the indie film, The Canyons, which hit theaters on August 2.

Lohan opens up the trailer by asking, “Do you really like movies?” She continues, “No, really .. I don’t know. Maybe it’s jut not my thing anymore.” Canyons is a film about the youth, glamour, and sex in present day Los Angeles. It is directed by Paul Schrader, who also wrote for Taxi Driver and acted as both writer and director for American Gigolo. American Psycho writer, Bret Easton Ellis, wrote the script for the offbeat film.

Filming The Canyons wasn’t as smooth as the crew had hoped. There were many rumors that Lindsay Lohan was a pain to work with and caused many scenes off camera. One instance, the actress locked herself in her trailer for hours because she wasn’t comfortable filming a sex scene. There were also rumors that Lohan often showed up to set drunk and late. She even lost the role, but got it back after begging Schrader at his hotel room to keep her on. He did so because it was too late to recast and they had already invested so much time and money into the film.

Nonetheless, the film has wrapped up and set to premiere next month.The Canyons opens up in theaters and on-demand cable channels August 2.

In the final stages of the Lindsay Lohan saga, the trouble actress picked the Morningside Recovery Center in Newport Beach, California over the judge approved Seafield Center in Westhampton Beach, New York. According to TMZ, Lohan chose Morningside because it would allow her to continue smoking cigarettes. “We did not approve this facility. We did not look into this facility. We know nothing about this facility,” said the prosecutor to the judge.

In other news, California state officials reportedly revoked the license of Morningside in 2012 for being careless with prescription drugs and offering treatment beyond its purview. The judge gave prosecutors a week to investigate the license situation.

According to her father, Michael Lohan, Lindsay had no idea she could not check into the facility. “Lindsay had no idea that Morningside wasn’t approved …It’s not her fault…This poor kid was a mess before she left.”

Lohan will remain at Morningside Recovery until the prosecution determines whether or not it deems the facility acceptable. The judge said the prosecution should make that decision by May 10.

In March, Los Angeles County Superior Court Justice James Dabney sentenced Lohan to 90 days in  a drug rehabilitation facility, instructing her to leave the institution for any reason. The judge reached the decision after Lohan pleaded no contest to charges of reckless driving and providing false information to police.

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan will be making a guest appearance on Charlie Sheen’s Anger Management as herself, except she will be playing the role of a therapy patient. According to Lionsgate Television, the producer of the show, Lohan will become involved in a whirlwind romantic relationship with Charlie Sheen, who’s character happens to be a therapist on the show.

Lionsgate went on to say that the episode will be releases in April. This isn’t the first time Lohan and Sheen have worked together. The pair were both cast in the upcoming “Scary Movie 5,” which is set to debut the same month. Lohan has had more than her fair share of run ins with the law lately due to probation violations and many more things, which is why it makes perfect sense that she would play a therapy patient.

Despite her “respiratory infection”, Lindsay Lohan made it to court this morning over misdemeanor charges of lying to authorities and reckless driving in a crash last summer, which is in violation of her probation.  The trouble actress was represented by New York lawyer, Mark Heller.

Judge Stephanie Sautner welcomed Lohan by saying, “I’m glad to see you’re feeling better,” referring to the actress doctor’s note excusing her from court. After learning a warrant would be out for her arrest if  she missed court, Lindsay quickly flew from New York to LA although her sickness advised her from flying.

Lohan told the judge that she was putting her legal troubles in the hands of Heller and moving on from former lawyer Shawn Holley. Judge Sautner gave permission to Heller to represent Lohan  and also stated that the actress could be found not guilty in the lying case. She also stated that Lohan could be in violation of her probation in the jewelry case since the standard of proof is lowered.

The next hearing will be March 1st. A March 18 trial date is also scheduled, but Lohan is not required to attend. The latest hearing was the first in over a year that the actress was required to be in attendance.

Lindsay Lohan can’t seem to catch a break. With her legal issues about to erupt, the star, along with her mother, Dina Lohan, were spotted on the last flight to Los Angeles out of JFK Tuesday night after being warned she would have a warrant out for her arrest if she didn’t appear in court Wednesday morning. According to TMZ, Lindsay and her mother flew first class on American Airlines that landed in LA around 12:30.

The actress attempted to not show up at her court appearance for the case where she lied to the cops. She filed a doctor’s note in court stating that she had an upper respiratory infection.  After learning that a warrant could be placed on her arrest for not appearing in court, Lindsay flew back to LA, despite the respiratory infection that claimed she could not fly. Sources tell TMZ that the actress is begging former lawyer, Shawn Holley to come back to represent her in court. Holley, known for keeping Lindsay from jail time on several occasions  has said she is done with the case, leaving Lohan to be represented by New York Lawyer Mark Heller.

Heller may not be able to represent Lindsay in court due to the fact that he has yet to meet the lawyer he got to sponsor him. It is possible that Lindsay may end up representing herself.

Lindsay Lohan might be going through some money problems but she isn’t about to take any old job that comes across her path. Lohan has reportedly turned down a huge offer to be apart of the Dancing With The Stars cast.

Lohan has been in the news lately for her woes with the tax man, and the fact that she owes hundreds of thousands of dollars in back taxes. Fellow actor Charlie Sheen even admitted to cutting her a check for $100,000 to help her out, but that wasn’t enough to satisfy her debts. What’s more, she didn’t even call, tweet, text, or get in touch with Sheen in anyway to thank him for his generosity.

Lohan was reportedly approached by the casting directors of DWTS to appear on the celebrity dance show, offering her as much as $550,000, but she wouldn’t budge.

Lohan’s close friends tell TMZ that the actress would never consider doing any type of reality television, and she would rather stick with acting in movies. But at this point Lohan might have ruined her career and name in Hollywood due to the host of problems she’s gotten in to on and off set.

According to TMZ, Lindsay Lohan has fired longtime lawyer Shawn Holley. Holley has kept Lohan out of jail on several occasions, but the actress has traded in her handy attorney for a New York lawyer who was suspended from practicing law for five years in 1994! What was she thinking?

Lindsay Lohan is facing criminal prosecutions in California and New York. Attorney Mark Heller was representing the actress in New York, while Holley was representing her in multiple criminal cases in California. TMZ reports that the L.A prosecution of Lindsay Heller sent a letter to Holley saying he was now representing Lohan on all criminal matters. Reports also claim that Holley received the letter on her way to the courthouse when Heller sent the letter. The news is surprising, considering the fact that Holley was the one who kept Lohan out of jail after the jewelry heist case as well as several probation violation cases.

“The Canyons” star has been in the news recently after a candid article accounted Lohan’s poor behavior on set of the film. In the article, the writer says Lohan was constantly drunk and even drove her car after apparently drinking. The star has had countless number of courtroom appearances, where her lawyer Holley has kept her from going to jail.

Always one to make headlines, Dina Lohan told reporters at a Long Island hotel that Lindsay is so screwed up because she was witness to a violent marriage that included physical abuse and rape while she was growing up. Dina came armed with police and medical reports to back up her claims that her ex, Michael Lohan, was abusive throughout their 22 year marriage. “Lindsay saw her dad abuse me – that’s why she’s so screwed up,” the former dancer told reporters.

Michael was contacted by reporters about the allegation Sunday night, which he called “evil lies” and questioned Dina’s motives in dredging up the past.  He adamantly denies that he was abusive to Dina Lohan during their marriage.

You have to wonder how Lindsay will handle the latest melodrama to unfold around her infamous parents. The troubled young star already has a rough month ahead with court appearances in both New York and Los Angeles and could once again be facing jail time.
