The 27 year old Lily Allen is a mum again! The British singer has welcomed home new baby daughter Marnie Rose on Tuesday, January 8, according to People Magazine.

This is Allen’s second child with husband Sam Cooper who wed in Cloucestershire, England in June of 2011. Allen’s rep declined to confirm the pregnancy in July, but none was needed when the singer took to the red carpet with a burgeoning belly during the British Fashion Awards in November. Marnie Rose, joins sister Ethel Mary who is 1. “Quit overwhelmed by all the well wishing going on. THANKYOU everybody xxx”, tweeted the singer Thursday morning. One of those well wishes came from actor friend Charlie Condou, who tweeted he had a little cry  when Lily “told me Marnie Rose was born” on his birthday.

Allen has been open about her previous two miscarriages before giving birth to Ethel Mary in November of 2011. “It was a really long battle, and I think that kind of thing changes a person” said Allen in her documentary Lily Alen: Rags to Riches.

The British singer recently made news in June when rumors spurred that she would be returning back to music after she announced in 2010 that she was taking a break to focus on her fashion store and personal life. “You will be pleased to know that i am currently in the f***ing studio with [producer] @GregKurstin,” tweeted Allen.
