James Cameron is back talking about the highly anticipated sequel to Avatar.

At the New Zealand premiere of of “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey ” the movie director stated, “I want to get these scripts nailed down, I don’t want to be writing the movie in post production,” about the progress of Avatar 2. “We kind of did that on the first picture, I ended up cutting  out a lot of scenes and so on an I don’t want to do that again.” Cameron hoped to be finished with the movie’s script and to begin filming by the end of 2013 and have the film in theaters by 2015.

Despite the criticism of using 48 frames-per-second technology in “The Hobbit” by Perter Jackson, Cameron says he is considering adopt the same process for the second Avatar. Critics said the 48-per-second frame footage from “The Hobbit” had “that soap opera feel look you get from badly calibrated TVs at Best Buy.”
