The adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s “The Great Gatsby” novel had an impressive showing at the box office, taking home $51.1 million on it’s opening weekend. “The Great Gatsby” hasn’t been getting the best reviews from critics and fans alike. receiving a CinemaScore of B from moviegoers. The film starred Leonardo DiCaprio as Jay Gatsby, Tobey Maguire, Joel Edgerton, Isla Fisher, and Carey Mulligan, just to name a few.

“Iron Man 3” came out on top at the box office for the weekend yet again, making $72.47 million at 4,253 theaters. Starring Robert Downey Jr, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Don Cheadle, “Iron Man 3” has made $284.89 million domestically since its release. The action film had a record-breaking opening weekend, making $175 million. This total gave “Iron Man 3” the second-biggest opening after “The Avengers.”

After the Avengers movie my inner nerd was in heaven. Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man, Nick Fury, and Hawk all together on the same screen kicking ass and taking names. So when they announced that Iron Man 3 was in the works I was in geek heaven and couldn’t wait to see what type of tricks Marvel has up their sleeves for us this time. Now we get to finally see what they were working on. Marvel released the official trailer to Iron Man 3 today and it looks AWESOME! The new two-minute trailer shows billionaire playboy Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr., struggling to maintain a sense of normalcy in his life, knowing that with every passing moment he and the ones close to him are being targeted by people who want to kill them. The Iron Man 3 trailer introduces some new weapons from Stark Industries, as well as the epic return of War Machine and the appearance of Iron Man’s new villian, the Mandarin.
