<p>America’s favorite lovable loser Charlie Brown and his faithful dog snoopy are headed to the big screen in 2015. The peanuts gang recently celebrated their 62nd birthday and now the wonderful world of Charles Schulz is being made into a feature length film by Twentieth Century Fox Animation and Blue Sky Studios. The companies made the announcement today and said that Steve Martino, who directed children’s hit like “Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who” and “Ice Age: Continental Drift,” will be directing the film based on a screenplay written by the son of Charles Schulz, Craig Schulz and his grandson Bryan Schulz. The film has yet to be given a title but is expected to be released Nov. 25th 2015, also known as the 65th anniversary of the first appearance of the peanut comic strip and the 50th anniversary of ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas.’ “We have been working on this project for years,” said Craig Schultz. “We finally felt the time was right and the technology is where we need it to be to create this film.”</p>
