HBO has officially green lighted the Entourage movie and executive producer Mark Wahlberg is excited to get things rolling.

“We always felt like it was a movie, but we had to just make these 30-minute episodes. That was one of the frustrating things,” said Mark Wahlberg. “It always felt like we left the audience wanting more, which is a good thing in doing television. I think its story and its characters were a world people really missed and really enjoyed.” Entourage, which is loosely based on Walhberg’s real life group of friends, is about an actor and the situations he gets in with his closest friends.

The show ended in 2011, having many wondering what’s next for the group of friends. “It took a long time to get it written, get it right, and we got a fantastic script. Warner Bros. is very excited about it. All the guys are excited.” There has been no set release date, but Wahlberg reassures a premiere will be sometime next year. “Well, hopefully [we’ll shoot in] spring. Spring or summer. But hopefully as soon as possible. And then release, I mean, either a summer movie or fall movie, depending. But I like April, May [next year].”

According to Doug Ellin, the creator of the show, the film will pick up six months after the finale and focus on Ari’s new movie career move. But Wahlberg on the other hand wants something different. “I think a 90-minute move of sheer craziness — the guys getting back to just being about the guys, you know? Lose the ladies. Go crazy. Give people what they want.”

The popular HBO series Entourage is making it’s way to the big screen. After years of talk, HBO has given the green light to turn the series into a film.

The HBO show ran from 2004 to 2011 and helped put stars like Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, and  Jerry Ferrara on the map. According to Deadline Hollywood, the creator of the series, Doug Ellin, will direct the movie based on a screenplay he wrote. and the film will be executive produced by Mark Wahlberg, whose the series is loosely based on his close group of friends.

There has not been much detail given about the possible start date or official release of the film, however, the film is set to come out in 2014 or 2015. Deals are in the works to bring back Grenier, Connolly, and Ferrara. Kevin Dillon and Jeremy Piven have been in discussion on returning as well.

In 2010, Mark Wahlberg mentioned to MTV News that he was anxious to bring the series to the big screen. “I just think we can make a great movie.  I think we’re going to do it. We just have to end strong, and this season is, by far, the best season so far.” In September, Wahlberg revealed that Ellin had completed the script and could begin production at any moment. The plot of the film is unknown, but Wahlberg explains that it is “going back to the basics” from the beginning of the series. “I think they were all weighed down by these strong women towards the end of the series, so we are going to get them going crazy everyone wants to see them go nuts again.”

Justin Bieber fans rejoice, a sitcom based on the young singers life may be headed on air for the 2013-14 television season.The show doesn’t have a title yet but has been in development for over 2 years. It was passed over by ABC last year but they have decided to reconsider the show for the new season.
The show would be produced by Bieber himself, along with manager Scooter Braun and Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi of “Entourage” fame. The story was focus on Justin Bieber’s life growing up as an awkward teenager in Canada before he got rich and famous.
Bieber was born in London, Ontario and raised by his single mother who taught the youngster to sing and play drums, guitar and piano. At the age of 12 Bieber gained international attention after his mom posted videos of him singing on YouTube. No word as yet as to whether Bieber will be appearing on camera on the new series but it wouldn’t be his first foray into television. Bieber has appeared on the hit show “CSI” as well as MTV’s “Punk’d” and “Saturday Night Live.”
