According to TMZ, Edward Furlong, who starred in Terminator 2  and American History X, appeared in court on Friday to fight a court order which forbids him from being alone with his child. According to his ex wife, the actor exposed his 6-year-old to cocaine and should not be allowed to be near the child without strict supervision.

Furlong’s custody rights had been severely reduced in November after his ex-wife filed documents claiming their child had tested positive for cocaine after spending time with Furlong. The actor argued that his wife is a liar and will do whatever it take to “alienate me further from my son and destroy my ability to work.”

The judge refused to change the custody restrictions despite Furlong’s argument. During the hearing the, the judge expressed concern about the actor’s poor physical appearance.

Edward Furlong has had a long history  of substance abuse. He had been on a downward spiral for years and was most recently seen wandering the streets of Skid Row in Downtown L.A.
