Former child star Amanda Bynes has been making headlines for a week now for driving erratically around Hollywood on a suspended license and fellow troubled star Lindsay Lohan took to Twitter yesterday to ask a question that is probably on most of our minds at this point: Why isn’t Bynes in more serious trouble for her reckless behavior. Late Sunday Lohan posted the following tweet “Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far?+,” and while some might find the post catty it does raise a real question. Over the last several months Bynes has racked up a DUI and well as two charges of hit and run and then despite having her license suspended spent the weekend joy riding about Los Angeles. Since reports emerged Bynes car has been impounded and she will be headed to court later this month but many friends are starting to worry about the former actress’s mental health.

Former actress Amanda Bynes is in hot water again. The child star has already had two run ins with authorities in recent months and with a third incident on her record it’s looking like Bynes has little credibility left with her fans and friends. Bynes was allegedly seen Tuesday smoking from a pipe and driving erratically through the streets of Los Angeles, all this with a suspended license stemming from her earlier hit and run incidents. According to celebrity gossip site TMZ, Amanda Bynes was initially seen smoking from a pipe in the parking lot at a Baja Fresh restaurant and then heading to a spa where she spent three hours. Leaving the spa, she reportedly began driving erratically, cutting off other motorists and weaving in and out of traffic.The actress then parked her BMW at a Home Depot parking lot where she lit up again. Bynes is already facing charges from her previous traffic stops.
