Apparently the second times a charm for Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, who married his runaway bride Crystal Harris in an intimate ceremony at the Playboy mansion New Year’s Eve. Hefner took to Twitter to announce the happy news Monday saying, “Crystal & I married on New Year’s Eve in the mansion with Keith as my Best Man. Love that girl!”

This is the 3^rd marriage for Hugh Hefner, 86, and the first for the 26 year-old former Playmate of the month. The two were planning to marry in June of 2011 but Harris called off the wedding just 5 days before the ceremony. They reconciled earlier in 2012 and couldn’t be happier about their reunion. Harris also took to Twitter this week to say, “The harpist and flutist did an amazing job last night. They played ‘As Time Goes By’ ‘Because You Loved Me’ ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ and ‘Chasing Cars.’ They continued to play throughout the night as guests arrived for the big annual NYE party.”

It was only a year and a half ago that Crystal Harris famously called off her wedding to the 86 year-old Playboy tycoon, Hugh Hefner but now Harris says she is ready to commit and the two are expected to head down the aisle New Year’s Eve.

In June of 2011, Harris called off the engagement just 5 days before the big wedding but a year later rekindled the romance, moving back into the mansion earlier this year. The blond 26 year-old has said that she needed that time apart and that it taught her “how to be independent and stand on her own two feet.”

The two are planning a very private and intimate event for the New Year. They plan on saying “I do” in the mansion, surrounded only be their closest of friends and family. Hefner says that the reconciliation comes as no surprise to him, taking to Twitter to say: “Getting back together with Crystal Harris shouldn’t be such a big surprise, since I have a history of remaining close to former girlfriends. Crystal was miserable & said so.” Meanwhile, Hefner’s ex, Holly Madison is pregnant with her first child.
