The divorce proceeding between Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy have just taken a turn for the worse. Frankel, 42, filed for divorce from Hoppy, 41, about three weeks ago, but now the pharmaceutical has counter-filed with a list of demands of his own.

In his new filing, Hoppy has requested the very same things that Frankel asked for in her divorce papers. Hoppy wants primary custody of the couple 2-year-old daughter Bryn, Frankel asked for the same thing. Hoppy also wants Frankel to fork over some money for child support and pay for all medical and dental expenses for their daughter and himself, which is also what Frankel asked for in her divorce petition.

Hoppy also seeks “exclusive use and occupancy of the marital residence,” which happens to be a $5 million, four-bedroom apartment in NYC’s exclusive Tribeca neighborhood, just like his ex. He wants Frankel to maintain a life insurance policy on herself and list him and Bryn as beneficiaries, which also happens to be what Bethenny wanted in her divorce papers. Last but not least, he wants Frankel to pay his accountant and lawyers fees.

So basically, Hoppy just went through Frankel’s divorce petition and asked for the same exact things she wanted. “I feel like a failure,” Frankel admitted to Ellen DeGeneres earlier this month. “I really put it out there. I wanted the fairytale. I thought I had it. And Bryn is my fairy tale . . .This is excruciating, I have to say.”

It wasn’t happily ever after for reality TV star Bethenny Frankel. The ‘Bethenny Ever After’ star announced this week that she and her husband Jason Hoppy are separating after nearly 3 years of marriage. Frankel issued a statement on Sunday saying: “It brings me great sadness to say that Jason and I are separating. This was an extremely difficult decision that as a woman and a mother, I have to accept as the best choice for our family.”
The couple has lived most of their short marriage in front of the public eye and admit that they have been struggling for some time to hold their relationship together. Moving forward they plan on co-parenting their young daughter Bryn saying that she always has been and will remain their first priority. Just recently Bethenny had been sounding optimistic about the relationship saying: “We hit bottom, we came out the other side,” but apparently the two were unable to reconcile their differences.
