Adele has been on a roll lately with her music career, and she doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. Even though she’s taking time off from making muic Adele was still voted the Entertainer Of The Year by the associated press. Out of 132 possible votes, Adele scored the most votes out of acts like Taylor Swift, “Fifty Shades of Grey” author E.L. James, the South Korean star PSY and the cast of “Twilight.”

2012 began with a bang for Adele, winning a number of Grammy awards before recording the theme song to the new 007 film “Skyfall,” followed by the birth of her new baby boy in October of this year. Adele’s “21” album also surpassed the 10 million albums sold mark in the U.S., making it the 21st album in the Nielsen SoundScan era to reach that historic mark.

Her album sales were helped by strong singles such as “Someone Like You” and “Rolling in the Deep,” which helped make it the top-selling album on iTunes for the second year running.
