After a long wait and tons of pictures of the actors on the scene filming the movie, we finally get to see the official trailer for Anchorman: The Legend Continues. The new trailer popped up on the net Tuesday night, giving us a glimpse of some of the crazy things Journey, Kristen Wiig, Baxter, and the rest of the Channel 4 News Team has been up too.

In the new trailer, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) and the rest of his team are tapped to come back to the world of broadcast news on a brand-new, 24-hour news channel. They accept the offer (“I’m going to do the thing that God put Ron Burgundy on this Earth to do: have salon-quality hair and read the news”) and proceed to get into the hilarious hijinks that made the first Anchorman such a success. Ron Burgundy, the legendary Anchorman from Will Ferrell’s movie, is back with a big splash, literally.  Recent images that have surfaced on the internet, including on TMZ, show Mr. Burgundy wrestling a shark.

What we do know for sure is that somewhere off the coast of California, a man and a shark meet for an epic showdown.  The legendary Anchorman seems slightly scared and cowardly as he shakes in awe and fear of the water beast, yet still remains confident and composed.

This is why we love Will Ferrell and the legend known as Anchorman.  Be sure to stay tuned for more information and updates on Ron Burgundy’s upcoming appearance in “Anchorman:  The Legend Continues”.

Fred Williard, long time actor and comedian, was arrested at  a theater in Hollywood Wednesday night and booked on lewd conduct charges. The incident took place around 8:45 Wednesday at the Tiki Theater where officers make regular walk-throughs. The officers took Willard into custody but he was released only a short time later. The 78 year old actor has been in countless TV shows and movies including Everybody Loves Raymond, Anchorman, Roxanne and Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle and most recently as the narrarator for an Antique Roadshow spinoff called Market Warriors. PBS issued a statement today that Willard will no longer be on the show because of the incident. Willard is just one in a long list of celebrities who has been caught in a compromising situation. Both George Michael and Paul Reubens, better known as Pee-Wee Herman, were caught in similar situations back in the 90’s, both have been able to ressurect their careers and hopefully Willard will be able to too.
