In the upcoming season of Glee, Demi Lavoto joins the gang as the love interest of Rivera’s character Santana. “She’s playing my love interest, so I’m very, very excited about that. We get to sing a song together. It’s going to be good, I’m excited to work with her,” said Naya to MTV.

During her interview with Harper’s Bazaar she gives advice to young Hollywood. “I’m not saying you need to take a break because you’re crazy,” she says. “I’m saying you need to take a break so yo can be crazy, and people aren’t going to judge you. You’re going to do dumb stuff from here on out. But do it in your own time. Do it safely. You can afford to protect yourself and still have fun.”

Miley Cyrus says she’s used to this industry growing up with Billy Ray Cyrus as her father. “My parents always had money, and I’ve always been around this industry, so I didn’t have my mind blown or become obsessed with being famous.”

She graciously answered the question about plastic surgery. “Be confident in who you are!” She is the second Asian-American winner, following Filipino contestant, Angela Perez-Baraquio.

“I’m so happy this organization has embraced my diversity. I’m thankful there are children watching at home who can finally relate to a new Miss America.” She is the second consecutive Miss New York to win the coveted crown, succeeding Mallory Hogan.

Her winning didn’t come without negativity. Some viewers took to social media to express their disgust with an Indian American winning Miss America. “I have to rise above that,” she said. “I always viewed myself as first and foremost American.”

Nina plans to apply for medical school to become a doctor like her father, which is now feasible with her wins of $50,000 in scholarship money.

On this particular ad, Jay-Z opens up to legendary producer Rick Rubin about fatherhood and how he’s striving to be a good father because his pops was never there for him. All these things are what lead Jay-Z to create a song called “Jay-Z Blue,” which is an ode to his daughter with wife Beyonce.

“It deals with [the fact that] my pop left when I was young. He didn’t teach me how to be a man nor how to raise a child — or treat a woman,” a somewhat emotional Jay-Z tells Rick Rubin of the track. “The two things I need, I don’t have … and I have a daughter. It’s [about] the paranoia of not being a great dad.”

Despite the $3 million budget, The Purge dominated the box office this weekend. The horror film debut at #1 with an estimated $36.4 million, beating out some of the highest industry expectations.

The Purge, a story about a future where people are allowed to break the law for one day out of the year reached the largest opener for star, Ethan Hawke. The film usurped last year’s similar The Devil Inside and took the crown for the largest opening for an R-rated horror movie that wasn’t a remake or adaption.

Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson brought their comedic duo back to the big screen with The Internship, which landed at #4 at the box office. The film went the opposite direction of the 2005 Wedding Crashers that had the pair rake in a total of $209.2 million. The Internship received poor reviews and a bad buzz that resulted in a lackluster opening.

Fast and the Furious 6 landed the #2 spot with $19.8 million. In total, the film has earned $202.9 million in domestic ticket sales, which is fastly approaching Fast Five. Now You See Me landed the #3 spot with $19.5 million for a total of $61.3 million total. The turnout to the film could have something to do with a recent interview with Jesse Eisenberg in which the reporter called him a jerk!

Superman is expected to have  a huge opening when it premieres on Friday.

Jesse Eisenberg is on a whirlwind of interviews for his latest film Now You See Me. Maybe all the questions are getting to him, but in a recent interview, he has it in for his interviewer.

Eisenberg is known for his dry sense of humor that made him perfect to take on Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network, but his sarcasm has labelled him a jerk in an interview that nearly left the journalist in tears.

Romina Puga, host of the Univision show “Say My Name” sat down with the Now You  See Me star to discuss the film and debunk a few magic tricks. Her attempt at engaging the actor was a complete fail.

First, she attempts to ask Eisenberg about his experience working with Morgan Freeman, in which she calls him ‘Freeman’. The actor responded sharply, “Freeman? Don’t call Morgan Freeman, ‘Freeman’ like you’re on a little league softball team.” he later calls Puga the “Carrot Top of interviewers.” In which she responds uncomfortably, “I’m going to cry now.” Eisenberg states, “Don’t cry now, cry after the interview is over because otherwise I’ll look like I’m responsible for it.” The interview pretty much went downhill from there with Puga calling the actor a “jerk”.
