Fans camped out for almost a week outside Los Angeles’s Nokia Theatre in anticipation of the final installment in the ‘Twilight’ franchise and last night‘s premiere of ‘Breaking dawn – Part 2’ was a bittersweet even for stars and fans alike. To celebrate the conclusion of one of this century’s most beloved stories a lavish after party was held last night for 3,500 guests.

The event, set up by party planner Chad Hudson, featured small vignettes from each of Stephanie Meyer’s 5 books. Bella’s orange pick-up truck was set up at the venues entrance, along with waiters passing out celebratory cocktails. Guests could also view the wolf pack’s “New Moon” lunar bodies and several of the motorcycles from Jacob Black’s garage. The Volturi also got their due with a red set where guests could get their pictures taken upon the group’s thrones.

The series’ stars were on hand for the affair including; Peter Facinelli, Kellan Lutz and Nikki Reed and music and dancing went on until the wee hours of the morning.
