Miley Cyrus let’s the world know that she is in a place right now where she likes to party and she’s not apologizing for it!
Miley Cyrus’s latest single from RCA Records just debuted yesterday, June, 3rd to the world via radio with host, Ryan Seacrest. The song called, “We Can’t Stop,” is about partying and shaking it like a stripper. The young 20 year-old, former Disney star said this about the new song and the new album, “My record is like a movie. It’s a story of what I’ve been going through the past two years.” This new single is produced by Mike WiLL Made-It and co-written by Miley Cyrus herself, Mike WiLL, and Rock City and marks her 4th studio album following the 2010, “Can’t Be Tamed” album.
Ever since the Cambio blue carpet event at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, Cyrus fans have awaited and anticipated the drop of this song, because that was where she announced that “We Can’t Stop” was coming.
“I’m really happy with my record because I feel like I have so many options for singles,” she also said about this new record that will be released later this year. It’s been awhile since Miley Cyrus has put out a new single, but she hasn’t been out of the spotlight with all of the gossip about her here today, gone tomorrow relationship with Mr. Hunger Games actor, Liam Hemsworth. Although she recently tweeted a pic on May 30th with her engagement ring on, maybe this new busy work schedule is a sign that they are off again….?
“Everyone always judges and says what they want, but my fans … have really stood by me no matter what I’ve been through,” said Cyrus about her music. Miley’s summer anthem sings a few noticeable lyrics that is the talk of the media right now…, “La-da-di-da-di, we like to party, dancing with Molly, doing whatever we can’t” and “Shaking it like we at a strip club” and “It’s my mouth, I can say what I want to and “trying to get a line in the bathroom!
She went on telling Seacrest, “I feel like I can really be myself. I really have more of a connection of who I am, and I feel like I can maybe express that more in my music now.”
Aside from collaborating with Mike WiLL Made-It, (the 24 year-old, Atlanta-born producer who has been all over the charts, producing songs for 2 Chainz, Rihanna, and Michelle Williams just to name a few!), she also collab’d with Pharrell Williams, Will.i.am, Future, and Dr. Luke for this record.
