Billboard Music Awards Nominations Announced!

The nominations for the upcoming Billboard Music Awards have been announced and Lorde is tied with Imagine Dragons at 12 nominations apiece. The nominations are based on the number of radio play and record sales an artist had over the past year. Las Vegas band Imagine Dragons scored a huge hit with “Radioactive” while teenage New Zealander Lorde dominated with her song “Royals.”

The 2014 Billboard Music Awards will air on ABC live from Las Vegas on Sunday, May 18.
